Chromebooks have evolved a lot over the past couple of years. The laptops that were once ignored by the general public because of their rather "basic OS" have become a staple for students and home users who are in need of a quick and efficient laptop to do cloud based tasks.
Be it streaming a movie, editing a shared doc, browsing the web or simply chatting up with friends, Chromebooks have become the new entry level laptop sans the slow performance that typically accompanies such models.
Today we'd like to take a look at one of the latest models to join the fold, a model that brags about a 12 hour battery life, Full HD screen and a very low price tag. You guessed it, today we're gonna review the Acer CB3-431-C5FM Chromebook.
The Pros: Full HD 14 inch Display, 4GB of RAM, 32GB storage, 12 hour battery life, HD webcam, aluminium body, lightweight design, quad core CPU, seductive price.
The Cons: No 4G support.

The high end laptop market has changed a lot over the past couple of years. Whilst before a high definition display couples with 1 TB of storage would automatically grant a laptop the "high end status", nowadays it takes quite a bit more. Such is the case we'll see in our review of the HP Envy 13-d099nr.
HP's latest entry into the very competitive yet lucrative high end market sports a Quad HD display, 256GB of SSD storage, a fingerprint reader, an Intel Core i7 processor and a discounted price amongst its many other virtues. Today we'll invite you to tag along and find out what the high end market is really like these days.
Is this laptop all it's cracked up to be? Find out what buyers have to say!
Asus is stepping up to the plate when it comes to launching a competent set of entry level laptops. While many users are searching for an all purpose laptop, some users just want a secondary laptop that they can easily carry around, with vast battery life and all the commodities that Windows 10 provides them. It's in this scenario where our review of the Asus VivoBook E200HA-US01-GD comes to play.
Asus's latest foray onto the entry level market is equipped with a stylish and lightweight design, 13 hour battery life, SSD storage, great connectivity and a smashing price. However, don't take us on our word, keep reading and see for yourself if this is the laptop you've been waiting for or if it'll fall short to your expectations.
While yesterday we gushed tirelessly over the HP 15-ay013nr, an affordable laptop that comes packed with a Full HD screen, 128 GB of SSD storage, Core i5 CPU and 8 GB of RAM. Today we're going to take a moment and review it's "brother"; the (also very affordable) HP 15-ay011nr.
This new HP model takes on most of the specs of the ay013nr. However, it swaps the SSD storage, one of our favourite features, and goes down the more "conventional route" with a 1TB hard drive.
For those who value storage capacity over storage speed this would be a better fit since it's still a spectacular laptop with either storage format. Now, without further ado, let's get on with our review of the HP 15-ay011nr.

SSD storage has finally arrived at mid range laptops. We're not talking about your typical 16/32 GB units that have been around for awhile now. No, we're talking about true SSD storage, where you can actually, you know, store stuff. Such is the case of the Asus VivoBook E403SA-US21, one of the most impressive mid-level laptops we've seen so far, that comes packed with 128GB SSD storage, amongst many other virtues.

Entry level laptops have come a very long way in the past couple of years. While in 2014 the norm would place an entry level model with roughly 500 GB of storage, 3 hours of battery life and give or take 2 GB of RAM, nowadays things have really improved and an entry level notebook is no longer another way of saying "bad laptop".
Proof and point is Acer's latest launch and subject of today's review, the Acer Aspire E5-532-P4H0. This laptop comes equipped with the latest Celeron processor, 1 TB of storage and 4GB of RAM, amongst many other pros (aside from its budget friendly price). Care to know more? Here we go!
If you thought a laptop with a fully fledged SSD unit, a Full HD screen and up to date specs was incompatible with a low price point you would have been right...until now. This week HP has launched one of its most viciously competitive laptops to the market with a set of specs that's almost unbelievable. We're talking about the HP 15-ay013nr.
HP's new laptop is clearly going for the kill with a 128GB SSD, Skylake generation i5, a Full HD screen, a lightweight design and all that for what's essentially an entry-level price. No, this is no April Fool's joke, so let's not waste another moment and get to the specs in our review of the HP 15-ay013nr. If you're looking for a version with a Core i7 CPU and 256GB of storage, read the review here.
Affordable gaming laptops are hard to come by. However, as of late, firms such as Dell and HP have been hard at work to deliver what the market craves; relatively cheap gaming laptops with huge potential for all kinds of tasks. That's where our review of the HP Pavilion 15-ak099nr comes to play; a low cost gaming laptop for the masses.
With a modest price point, this new Signature Edition laptop (no bloatware) strikes the market with a Full HD touchscreen, an i7 processor, a powerful dedicated graphics chip and a whole lot more. In the mood to find out more? Keep reading...
Pros: QHD display, Skylake i5 CPU, 128 GB of SSD storage, 8 GB of RAM, entry level pricing (for a high end model)
Cons: integrated graphics chip.
If you love the design of the MacBook Air lineup but don't have the budget to go in that direction or actually need to go down the Windows route to get the job done then HP has the perfect fit for you in the shape of the HP ENVY 13-d010nr.
But HP's new laptop has quite a few upgrades when compared to the MacBook Air lineup. Aside from its more affordable price point, this new model also boosts quite a spectacular QuadHD resolution which is even better than Apple's MacBook Pro lineup. There's also a significant increase in RAM, 8 GB to be precise. If you wanna know more here's our full review of the HP Envy 13-d010nr.
